Disorder / Condition Description Features
Breast Cancer Malignancy of the breast tissue. Rarely seen before age 30; incidence increases post-menopause. Standard treatment is mastectomy.
Cervical Cancer A slow-growing cancer of the cervix. Unnoticed until it invades other tissues. Treated by radiation or surgery.
Oophorocystosis (Ovarian Cyst) Fluid-filled tumours of the ovary. May rupture or shrink during pregnancy; typically removed surgically in older women.
Oophoritis Inflammation of the ovary. Usually caused by an underlying infection.
Ectopic Pregnancy Embryo implantation outside the uterus. Generally occurs in the oviduct (fallopian tube) rather than the uterine cavity.
Menstrual Disorders Irregularities in the normal menstrual cycle. Includes Amenorrhea (absence), Menorrhagia (excessive), and Dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation).
Infertility The physiological inability to become pregnant. Often due to ovulation failure or anatomical factors preventing the union of the ovum and sperm.
