Bronfenbrenner's Ecological System Theory - Technology and Ecological System

Technology includes things like smartphones, tablets, computers, and television. Today, most children use technology for learning, playing games, and watching videos. Technology can make life better, but it also causes some problems for children's healthy growth.

Melvin L. Kohr noted that "Bronfenbrenner made social scientists realize that interpersonal relationships, even at the smallest level of parent-child relationship, did not exist in a social vacuum, but were embedded in the larger social structures of community, society, economics, and politics."
