Introduction

‘Divisible' means when you divide one number by another, the remainder should be zero. Divisibility tests are useful in the prime factorisation of a number.
To check whether a number is divisible without performing long division, we use divisibility rules.

These rules allow us to analyse, examine, and manipulate the digits of a number using basic arithmetic operations to check for divisibility.
