Step for Opening an Image in GIMP :


Step 1 :
- Click on the File menu in the top-left corner of the application.
- From the dropdown menu, select Open.
- Browse to locate your image file and open it.
Step 2: After the image opens on the canvas, you may apply changes such as cropping, colouring, or other edits.
Step 3 :
- If no changes were saved yet, you can simply close the file without saving.
- If changes were made but not saved, go to File → Revert (if available in the software) to undo all changes and return to the original.
