Solution

When a ray of light passes from one medium to another, its direction (except for normal incidence) changes because of a change in the speed of light. Thus, refraction occurs because light travels with different speeds in different media.

A ray of light is incident normally on a plane glass slab. What will be
    1. the angle of refraction and
    2. the angle of deviation for the ray?

Can you guess the focal length of a plane mirror?
