Range/Scope of Entrance examination

Choosing a course is easy, but getting into it requires passing an entrance exam. Colleges and institutes provide admission into courses such as diploma, post diploma, under graduate, post graduate, research and fellowship programmes based on the score and ranking obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination. Even for admission into all types of professional courses, an entrance examination is required.
