प्रश्न
Why is the series arrangement not used for domestic circuits?

उत्तर
Series connections are not used in domestic electrical circuits due to the following reasons:
- It cannot be used with different devices (devices) with different switches on and off. If one equipment fails, the other also stops working.
- In series connection, the same current flows through all the devices, which we do not need.
- Due to high total resistance of the circuit (R = R1 + R2 + ...), the value of current becomes extremely low.
