Integrating both sides, we get

∴ `tan^-1 "x" = "y"^(-2)/-2 + "c"_1`
∴ `tan^-1 "x" = - 1/"2y"^2 + "c"_1`
∴ 2y2 tan-1 x = - 1 + 2c1y2
