उत्तर
Homoleptic refers to a coordination complex where all the ligands attached to the central metal ion are the same type. For example:
- [Cu(NH3)4]2+: This is a homoleptic complex where all four ligands are ammonia (NH3) molecules, coordinated to the copper (Cu2+) ion.
- [NiCl6]2−: In this homoleptic complex, all six ligands are chloride (Cl−) ions, coordinated to the nickel (Ni2+) ion.
