Solution
We represent the head variable on the x-axis and expenditure on the y-axis.
Let choose the scale as 1 unit = Rs. 500
To represent our first head that is food, we draw a rectangular bar with width 1 unit and height 8 units.
Similarly, other heads are represented by leaving a gap of `1/2` unit in between two consecutive bars.
The bar graph for given data is shown below:
