Solution

We know:

\[n\left( A \cup B \right) = n\left( A \right) + n\left( B \right) - n\left( A \cap B \right)\] 

Now, 

\[n\left( A \cap B \right) = n\left( A \right) + n\left( B \right) - n(A \cup B)\]

= 16 + 14 \[-\] 25

= 5
