How will the force of gravitation between two objects change if the distance between them is:
Halved

Solution

We know that law of gravitation.
F = G ( m1 X m2)/R2.
If distance between them is halved then put R = R/2.
F = 4 X G( m1 X m2)/ R2.
F1 = 4 F
