उत्तर

Authority refers to the power to give commands and directions to subordinates. Herein, power is given to decide what activities are to be done and by whom. On the other hand, responsibility refers to the obligation to complete the assigned task within the stipulated time. According to this principle, managers should keep a balance between authority and responsibility.

As there was a spirit of unity and harmony and all members supported each other with mutual trust and belongingness, the programme was systematically planned and executed. Arvind, one of the prefects, realised that unknowingly the group had applied one of the principles of management while planning and executing the programme.
