Levels of Management - Lower Level Management

Lower-level management is also referred to as the operational or supervisory level. It includes: 

• Superintendents
•  Supervisors
•  Foremen
• Junior Executives.

These managers have direct contact with workers and are responsible for overseeing daily operations.

Imagine a bakery supervisor:

• Assigns baking tasks to team members.
• Teaches new recipes.
• Resolves arguments over ovens.
• Calls for oven repair if needed.
• Checks if the bread is perfect before sale.

• Lower Level = Supervisory/Operational Level.
• Directly manages workers and daily routines.
• Assigns tasks, guides team members, resolves issues, maintains equipment, and ensures quality.
• Acts as a bridge between workers and higher management.
