Key Points: Due Date
- Due Date: It is the date by which the bill amount must be paid. If it falls on a public holiday, payment is made on the previous working day. For emergency holidays, payment is on the next working day.
- Nominal Due Date: The date calculated based on the bill's period, without adding grace days.
- Legal Due Date: The final due date, calculated by adding 3 grace days to the nominal due date.
- Bills After Date: Due date is calculated from the bill's date. Add the period (in months/days) and then 3 grace days.
- Bills After Sight: Due date is calculated from the date of acceptance, not from the date of drawing. Add the period and then 3 grace days.
