Solution
Internal recruitment when job vacancies are filled in by people already working in the organisation, it is called internal recruitment. The two main sources of internal recruitment are:
- Promotions: Vacancies at higher levels may be filled by promoting people working at lower levels. It involves the transfer of an employee to a higher post, carrying a higher status and a higher salary.
- Transfers: It means shifting an employee from one branch or office to fill a vacancy in another branch office of the same company. This involves shifting an employee to a similar job without changing their status or salary.
