Solution

Devangi travels 50 m distance in 75 steps, then the distance travelled in 375 steps is 0.25 km.

Explanation:

∵ Devangi covers the distance in 75 steps = 50 m

So, she cover the distance on 1 step = `50/75 m`

In 375 steps, she will cover = `50/75 xx 375`

= `18750/75 = 250  m`

= `250/1000 km`  ...[∵ 1 km = 1000 m]

= 0.25 km
