उत्तर

Given, area of shaded triangle = 9 cm2

And base of the triangle = 3 cm

∵ Area of a triangle = `1/2` × Base × Height

⇒ `9 = 1/2 xx 3 xx h`

⇒ `18/3 = h`

⇒ h = 6 cm

∴ Area of parallelogram = Height × Base of parallelogram

= 6 × (3 + 4)

= 6 × 7

= 42 cm2
