\[\left( \frac{dy}{dx} \right)^4 + 3x\frac{d^2 y}{d x^2} = 0\]
The highest order derivative is \[\frac{d^2 y}{d x^2}\] and its power is 1.
Therefore, the given differential equation is of first degree.
