Solution

The perimeter of a square is 4 × side.

Given:

Ratio of perimeters = 8 : 15

Let the sides be a and b.

`(4a)/(4b) = 8/15`

`a/b = 8/15`

Ratio of the lengths of their sides = 8 : 15
