Solution

∵ The cost of 27 kg of iron = ₹ 1080

∴ Cost of 1 kg of iron = `1080/27` = ₹ 40

∴ The cost of 120 kg = 40 × 120 = ₹ 4800

Hence, the cost of 120 kg of iron is ₹ 4800.
