Health and Fitness Demonstration at St. Xavier’s College

Mumbai:
The staff at St. Xavier’s college organized a ‘Health and Fitness’ demonstration on 5th March 2020 for all the students with the aim of spreading awareness and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
Ms. Neerja Shah, who is a Martial artist and fitness enthusiast, was invited as a guest speaker to impart knowledge on the need of a fit body and healthy mind. The event was inaugurated by the Principal of the college, who talked about various fitness tips and tricks. The students were apprised about various ways in which a healthy lifestyle can be inculcated in their regular routines. A live demo was provided by Ms. Neerja about simple exercises that can be done within a short period of time anywhere without any equipment.
Students practiced along and took a resolution to change their lazy lifestyles and become healthier. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the college’s Student representative.
