Poetry Recitation competition held at Metro College

Mumbai:
Metro College of Arts organized a poetry recitation competition on 22nd March 2021 for Junior college and Under Graduate students on the theme ‘Youth Empowerment' at the college campus.
More than 130 students registered for the first round, out of which 70 students were selected for the second round based on their performance. The main competition was held in the presence of the College Principal, Vice-principal, Staff and other students. Every participant had to recite their chosen piece in under 5 minutes, without referring to any text. Beautiful recitations were presented and 10 students were selected for the final round. Guest judges were invited to encourage the students and give a fair and unbiased result.
Three winners were chosen and two complimentary prizes were also given. After 26 days of constant hard work behind the organisation of this event, it turned out to be a herculean success.
