Solution

Perimeter of a rectangular field

= 2 × length + 2 × breadth

= 2 × 160 + 2 × 90

= 320 + 180

= 500 m

In one round, distance walked is 500 m; hence, distance walked in 4 rounds.

= 500 × 4 = 2000 m

= 2 km

∴ The distance walked in 4 rounds is 2 km.
