Question
If the circumference of a circular sheet is 154 m, find its radius. Also find the area of
the sheet. (Take `pi = 22/7`)

Solution
Circumference = 2πr = 154 m
`2 xx 22/7 xx r = 154`
`r = 154 xx 7/44`
= `49/2`
= 24.5 m
Area = `pir^2`
= `22/7 xx r^2`
= `22/7 xx 49/2 xx 49/2`
= 1886.5 m2
