Solution
Given,
∵ 25 m of cloth costs = ₹ 337.50
∴ 1 m of cloth cost = ₹ `337.50/25`
Cost of 40 m of the same type of cloth = `337.50/25 xx 40`
= `13500/25`
= ₹ 540
