I have a box which has 3 green, 9 blue, 4 yellow, 8 orange coloured cubes in it.
(a) What is the ratio of orange to yellow cubes?
(b) What is the ratio of green to blue cubes?
(c) How many different ratios can be formed, when you compare each colour to anyone of the other colours?

(i) orange : Yellow = 8 : 4 = 2 : 1
(ii) green : blue = 3 : 9 = 1 : 3
(iii) green : orange = 3 : 8
orange : green = 8 : 3
blue : orange = 9 : 8

green : yellow = 3 : 4
yellow : green = 4 : 3
blue : yellow = 9 : 4
