Find the volume of the given figure if volume = base area × height.

Solution

∵ Volume of the given figure = Base area × Height

In figure, base is rectangle.

So, area of rectangle = 2p × 2p = 4p2

Height = 2p

Volume of the figure = 4p2 × 2p = 8p3
