Solution 1

During summer solar insolation takes place on land. Water evaporates from lakes, ponds, and vegetations. Due to this a heavy rainfall with lightning and thunder occurs in the evening for a short period.

Solution 2

The equatorial regions experience convectional rainfall. The air heats up quickly due to the high temperature. When such hot air rises in convectional currents, clouds begin to form at a height of roughly 10 km. Cloud condensation brought on by ascending currents of hot, humid air produces a lot of rain. This kind of rainfall, referred to as a “4 O'clock Shower,” happens in the afternoon at around four o'clock. Thunder and lightning also accompany this type of rainfall. In the equatorial regions, convectional rainfall takes place every day. Over 200 cm of rain falls on them each year.
