- Wavelength λ2 corresponds to Ultraviolet waves.
- Wavelength λ3 corresponds to Infrared waves.

- Source of ultraviolet waves: Movement of electrons in atoms from higher energy level to lower energy level.
- Source of infrared waves: Vibration of atoms and molecules.
