0.4, 0.5, 2.9 and 3.5 are in proportion
if 0.4 × 3.5 = 0.5 × 2.9
⇒ 1.40 = 1.45
which is not true
Hence 0.4, 0.5, 2.9 and 3.5 are not in proportion.
