If 27 litres of reactants are consumed, what volume of nitrogen monoxide is produced at the same temperature and pressure?

\[\ce{4NH3 + 5O2 → 4NO + 6H2O}\]
4 V 5 V 4 V
9 litres of reactants gives 4 litres of NO
So, 27 litres of reactants will give = `27 × 4/9` = 12 litres of NO
