  • The critical factors at the heart of artistic creation are the artist's capacity for power of imagination, sensibility, state of emotion, and skills.

Types of Art:

  • Visual Art (Drik Kala): Drik Kala's origins can be traced back to prehistoric times. The discovery of many sites of rock art in the world proves it. Painting and sculpture are examples of visual arts.

Style in Art:

  • Artists tend to have their own methods of working. It is known as the style of the artist.
  • A style could become a tradition if several artists use it over a long period of time. Such tradition becomes recognized as an 'art style.’ Every culture develops various art styles which become characteristic of certain periods or regions. Such styles are helpful in studying art history.
