Engineering colleges have degree, diploma and Post  graduation courses. The table shows that out of total 1, 55, 102 seats in the Degree course, 42, 497 remain vacant. In the Diploma course, 55, 107 seats out of 1, 65, 413 remain vacant and in the post graduation course out of total 13, 651 seats only 1810 are vacant. Pharmacy colleges also have degree, diploma and post graduation course. The number of vacant seats here are much less 924 out of 9, 712 in the degree course are vacant. 1771 seats out of a total of 12959 on the diploma course are vacant. Finally in the post graduation course a large number of seats are vacant 3506 out of 5296.

The brief, bright streaks of light in the night sky are known as meteors. Those fall all the way to the ground are called meteorites. Meteorites can be divided into three broad categories: iron, stony – iron and stony.
 
Iron meteorites are mostly made of metals nickel and iron. They are not very common. Nearly 50,000 years ago, an iron meteorite, Canyon Diablo, which created a crater a nearly a mile wide and 6 feet deep, known as Meteor Crater, was found in Arizona.
 
Stony – iron meteorites rarely land on our planet. They are made of iron – nickel alloy mixed with non – metallic matter similar to the outer layers of the earth. Such a meteorite weighing more than one and a half tons was found in Huckitta, Australia in 1924.
 
There are three sub – types of stony meteorites. The first is the chondrites which make up 86 percent of meteorites.
Carbonaceous chondrites are another rare type of stony meteorites. The most famous of these fell in Murchison, Australia in 1969. It contains evidence that life on earth did not begin here. The last type, the anchondrites are also rare. Scientists say that such matter was once part of Mars and our own moon.

Turtles and tortoises are closely related. They are both reptiles from the same family (Testudines or Chelonian). They are as follows:

  1. You should enter your name and registered number in the register, before entering in the library. 
  2. You should pay your monthly/annual membership on time. 
  3. You are not allowed to write anything in the book/magazine you have taken.
  4. You should not take any book or magazine out of the library without prior permission and registration. 
  5. You should maintain pin-drop silence in the library. 
  6. You are not allowed to eat, drink, chat or smoke inside the library. 
  7. You should return the books or magazines you have taken on time.
  8. You should not disturb other members and the librarian when you are in the library.

             Amir and Anita are good neighbours. They are cooperative and have happy families. Amir, an 18-year young chap is in std. 12 and goes to a famous college in the city. Anita, a 16-year charming girl will appear for her 10th class Board Exam this year.

             Amir’s father a big businessman in the city and Anita’s father is a government officer. Amir’s mother, a housewife, helps his father in their family business also. Anita’s mother is a doctor and has her own clinic.

             Amir is a good sportsman who likes to play outdoor games on the contrary Anita likes to remain indoors and enjoys indoor games. Amir is strong and dynamic. Though strong Anita is sensitive also. Photography and bird-watching are my interests of Amir. Anita spends her time in her hobbies of singing and painting.

             Amir after his 12th exam wants to pursue his career in wild-life photography. Anita would like to join Arts stream after her Board Exams.
