This is in reference to your letter of complaint regarding order no. 2764/M. Please accept our sincere apologies for the error made by our company in delivering your books late, less in number and in damaged condition.
As a result of our investigation, we have found that there was an error in typing at the time of placing your order. Moreover, the vehicle carrying your parcel met a road accident. This led to the delay in delivering your parcel, which got damaged due to the accident.
We have dispatched the new items by express courier. They should arrive by 5 March 2016. We look forward to receiving your further orders and assure you of the high standards of our products and services.
The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
