Solution
Internet vs. Books
Internet may be the future, but books are equally strong roots that support and encourage educational endeavors! Though the internet provides us with easy access to a plethora of data, yet its widespread application in rural areas is still very limited due to infrastructure-related challenges. In our fast-paced lives, we constantly seek out resources that save our time, but excessive use of the internet has shown to be a cause of various physical and mental ailments. The internet may be an economical and time-saving alternative to books but how authentic and reliable is this ‘free’ information? The internet has lately transformed from a ‘storehouse’ of useful information to a ‘virtual dump’ storing repetitive and unreliable information. Constant use of the internet has limited our reasoning capabilities and our creativity. On the contrary, books remain a well-founded source of inspiration. So, as the world continues to debate whether the internet would replace books, I for one am certain that books will always have the magical ability to bring the past to life through the words of those who lived in the years gone by, an emotion the internet could never replace.
