Solution
Last year, in the month of December, I went to my native village, where my grandparents live in a cottage on the foothills of the Himalayas. One day, I was standing on the edge of a dense forest. Suddenly, I heard a loud noise. The birds flew away quickly, making harsh sounds. I ran towards the source of the sound. What I saw shocked me deeply.
A big, wild bear had been shot. A crowd of people stood around it. The bear was still alive, but badly hurt and unable to stand. The forest officers who had shot it were calling for help to take the animal away.
After talking to the villagers, I learned that the bear had become dangerous. It had attacked and killed five people in the last few days. The villagers had complained many times, and after a long search, the forest department finally captured it.
Seeing the bear lying in its own blood made me very sad. I began to wonder if it would have attacked anyone if humans had not disturbed the forest. If animals came into our homes, we would protect ourselves. So why can’t animals do the same when we enter their space? These thoughts filled me with sympathy for the suffering animals.
