It was an amazing day, full of fun and frolic. We all stood aghast to see a strange flying object over our heads. We started running in different directions as it came down toward the ground. Dust spread everywhere, and the object made a loud buzzing sound as it landed. I tried to see through the thick dust to understand what was happening, but I could only see that the bottom of the object opened, and a bright beam of light came out.
All at once, some unusual creatures stepped out of the object. I trembled and held my mother’s arm as tightly as possible. One of the creatures came straight in front of us, and before I could faint or fully understand the situation, it began to speak. The creature was nearly 10 feet tall with a big, round head. It had thick green skin and webbed hands and feet. There was a screen-like device on its chest that showed words and produced sound. It was an alien!
The alien had no mouth but a single large eye in the middle of its face. With two huge ears on its head, it communicated only through the screen, which displayed the message, “Please do not be afraid! We have come from outer space. We are not here to hurt you but to warn you that the Earth is in danger. Human pollution is seriously harming the planet. Please stop it before it becomes too late.”
I could barely hear the full message when suddenly I opened my eyes. I looked around and saw that it was dark. It had only been a dream! Quietly, I sat up in my bed. As I tried to sleep again, I kept thinking whether aliens really exist. And if they do, is our Earth truly in danger? With these thoughts in my mind, I slowly drifted back to sleep.
