Ecosystem diversity refers to the variety of ecosystems, such as forests, grasslands, deserts, and wetlands, found in an area.
- Human activities and developmental processes have posed serious threats to biodiversity. Therefore, special efforts are being made to conserve and restore threatened biodiversity. These measures include establishing wildlife sanctuaries, national parks, biodiversity hotspots, and biosphere reserves. In addition, various conservation projects are undertaken to protect endangered species and preserve the rich biodiversity of our planet.
