Solution
Raj Malhotra,
101, Shivsiddhivinayak Apartment,
Vileparle,
Mumbai - 400057.
2nd March 2021
Dear Rohini,
I am wishing you a very happy Holi in advance. I pray to god that the festival of colors, Holi fills your life with colors of happiness. Yesterday I came across an advertisement. The advertisement advised making Holi 'Safe'. I thought their observations and suggestions were very valid, so I thought I would share the message with you.
During Holi, one thing we should avoid throwing water or rubber balloons containing water passers-by - children enjoy doing this but little do they realize how much harm they cause to themselves and to others. We should also refrain from forcing people who are unwilling to play Holi to join in the festivities. Also in many places instead of colours, people use dirt and even chemicals instead of natural colours.
You know that the youth get drunk in certain places and indulge in indecent language or riotous behaviour. They even use Holi for eve-teasing and driven and driving. The police have urged people not to submit in or tolerate such behaviour.
I hope you and your friends will avoid such a thing in your place and really make this an enjoyable and "colourful" Holi.
Your loving friend,
Raj Malhotra
