Solution

Given:

Mass of gas = 26.4 g

Vapour density = 22

At S.T.P., 1 mole of gas occupies 22.4 L

1. Molar mass = 2 × Vapour density

= 2 × 22

= 44 g mol−1

2. Moles = `26.4/44`

= 0.6 mol

3. Volume = 0.6 × 22.4

= 13.44 L
