Let the required rational number be x 

Other number = `(-3)/5`

Difference of two number = 1

According to question,

`therefore (-4)/5 - "x" = 1`

`=> (-4)/5 - 1 = "x"`

`=> "x" = (- 4 - 1 xx 5)/5 = (-9)/5`
