Solution

Given: Moment of couple = 30 Nm, Radius = 1.5 m

∴ Arm of couple = 2 × radius = 2 × 1.5 m = 3 m

Moment of couple = Force × arm of couple

\[ \text{Force} = \frac{\text{Moment of couple}}{\text{Arm of couple}} \]

\[=\frac{30\ \text{Nm}}{3\ \text{m}}\]

= 10 N
