Solution
Moment of couple = 9 Nm in CWD
F1 = F2 = 15 N
Moment of couple = Force × arm of couple
\[\text{Arm of couple} = \frac{\text{Moment of couple}}{\text{Force}}\]
\[= \frac{9 \text{ Nm}}{15 \text{ N}}\]
= 0.6 m
∴ Arm of couple = 2 × radius
\[\text{Radius} = \frac{\text{Arm of couple}}{2}\]
\[= \frac{0.6 \text{ m}}{2}\]
= 0.3 m
= 30 cm
