Solution

The similarity between Monsoon winds and land and sea breezes is that both are caused by differences in temperature and pressure due to unequal heating of land and water. Land and sea breezes are daily winds caused by land heating faster than the sea during the day and cooling faster at night, resulting in sea breezes during the day and land breezes at night. Monsoon winds are the same phenomenon on a much larger, seasonal scale. land heats more than the ocean in summer, creating low pressure and causing moist winds to blow from the sea to land (summer monsoon), and the reverse happens in winter with dry winds from land to sea (winter monsoon). Thus, monsoons are essentially large-scale, seasonal land and sea breezes.
