Solution

Force (F) = 5 N

Moment of force about O = 6 Nm

Moment of force = F × ⊥ distance

∴ ⊥ distance (radius of wheel) = \[\dfrac{\text{Moment of force}}{\text{F}}\]

= \[\dfrac{6\ \text{Nm}}{5\ \text{N}}\]

= 1.2 m

∴ Diameter of wheel = 2 × radius

= 2 × 1.2 m

= 2.4 m
