The area of a parallelogram is 60 cm2 and one of its altitudes is 5 cm. The length of its corresponding side is 12 cm.
Explanation:
We know that,
Area of a parallelogram = Side × Altitude
⇒ a × h = 60
⇒ a × 5 = 60
⇒ a = `60/5`
∴ a = 12 cm
