Solution

`"x" - ("x" - 1)/2 = 1 - ("x" - 2)/3`

`=> (2("x") -1("x" - 1))/2 = (3(1) - 1("x" - 2))/3`

`=> (2"x" - "x" + 1)/2 = (3 - "x" + 2)/3`

`=> (1"x" + 1)/2 = (5 - "x")/3`

⇒ 3(x + 1) = 2(5 - x)

⇒ 3x + 3 = 10 - 2x

⇒ 3x + 2x = 10 - 3

⇒ 5x = 7

`therefore "x" = 7/5`
