(2x – 3) (3x + 1) = 0  

⇒ 2x – 3 = 0 or 3x + 1 = 0 

⇒ 2x = 3 or 3x = –1  

⇒ `x = 3/2` or `x = (-1)/3` 

Hence, the roots of the given equation are `3/2` and `(-1)/3`.
