⇒ `"x"/2 - 3 + 3 = 5 + 3` ...(Adding 3 to both sides)
⇒ `"x"/2 = 8`
⇒ `"x"/2 xx 2 = 8 xx 2` ..(Multiplying by 2)
∴ x = 16
